I believe the magic of weddings comes from having the people who love you most in the world in one place, at one time, celebrating.
I began my career at an international communications agency planning and executing corporate events and public relations campaigns for healthcare companies. The wedding bug bit in early 2017 while helping a dear friend plan her private estate wedding. I realized then that I could bring my skills in event planning, project management to weddings. Summer + Co. Events launched the following year. Helping couples in love experience a beautiful, seamless wedding fills me with joy!

I believe weddings are about creating unforgettable experiences that feel personal. I’ve always been fueled by design and creativity - whether it be re-designing my home, doing ceramics, or hosting intimate gatherings.
Prior to becoming a wedding planner, I spent 6 years in New York working first in the fashion industry and then for a design studio specializing in ceramic homegoods as the head of merchandising and sales.
I realized my love for wedding design when planning my own wedding at our home in Maryland. I enjoy getting to know our clients and telling their stories through the small (and big) details.
When I'm not planning weddings, I love to cook, travel and can often be found at home with a glass of wine, a good book, and my two dogs.
